Accounting Technician (I/II/III)

Description

Under direct or general supervision, provides support for financial and procurement functions by carrying out the procurement process for supplies, equipment, professional services, capital acquisitions and construction projects for a public agency in compliance with government procurement laws, regulations, and procedures. Performs contract administration and project management support. Description

Description

Description

Under general direction, plans, organizes, oversees, coordinates, and performs difficult and complex professional and technical support related to the processing of financial transactions, preparing and reconciling financial and accounting records and reports, completing professional accounting work to ensure regulatory compliance with governmental accounting standards. Maintains and improves SBCAG’s financial system; administers current and long-term financial planning activities; provides highly complex and responsible support to the Chief Financial Officer/Human Resources in areas of expertise. Government Affairs & Public Information Manager (I/II)

Description

Under general supervision; plans, organizes, and implements a comprehensive government relations communication program, and public outreach program in support of SBCAG projects and programs. Researches, monitors, and analyzes legislation affecting SBCAG programs, projects, and activities. Represents SBCAG’s position regarding legislation to special interest groups and local, state, and federal agencies, legislators, and lobbyists. Informs stakeholders and the public of the activities and objectives of SBCAG, and performs related work as required.

Salary Range

$96,397.13 – $132,568.58 Annually
